This is the third in a series of small European
houses on a cobblestone street. This house features three floors,
tiled first floor, "wooden" other floors, coordinated
wallpaper, mansard roof, decorative trims on exterior, and a small
garden with wrought iron fencing. Students will learn basic construction
and wallpapering in small scale, aging techniques, making "glass"
windows, and simple flower garden tips.
Student Supplies and Tools Needed: A cutting board, x-acto
knife with new blades, ruler, pencils, scissors, small paint brush,
tacky glue, zap glue, wallpaper paste (yes, grandma stovers) and
toothpicks.
