"Heirloom" Dolls, Rabbits, and Teddy in Cabinet

You will learn paper cutting techniques to create a 3-D effect that will transform 6 detailed pictures of this wood cabinet filled with antique dolls and toys into a 3-D vignette. The cut paper dolls and toys will be embellished with aged laces, silk ribbon, and trims. Cabinet will be enhanced with stained wood pieces. You will also add greenery and floral foam to further enhance the 3-D effect of this piece. Your 1 3/4" deep scene will be placed into a decorative 5x7 frame. Kits include everything shown. The techniques you learn in this class can be applied to pictures you have in your collection.

Student Supplies and Tools Needed: The instructor will provide the materials for the project. Students will need to bring fine tip tweezers, fine tip scissors, glue bottle on sponge, tacky glue, ruler, cutting mat, x-acto knife, and a #11 blade.
